As part of Pakistan’s Aviation Division, the Airports Security Force (ASF) is in charge of guarding airports, buildings, and aircraft (both in the air and on the ground). The total strength of ASF, including men and females, is about 11, 000. A budget of 7 billion rupees is allocated annually for ASF. The command of the ASF is under a Major General sent by the Army Headquarters and the ASF is currently commanded by Major General Zafarul Haq.
