Punjab ranger is a civil armed force under the Ministry of Interior, Government of Pakistan. Its Primary duty is safeguarding the eastern border in the province of Punjab, and occasionally, it performs internal security duties as per instruction of the government of Pakistan. Additionally, Pakistan Rangers are tasked with installing and securing assets across cities in Islamabad, Punjab, and Gilgit Baltistan. Rangers have played an important role in upholding laws and order during natural disasters and participating in various welfare projects throughout the country.
